1. Establish Your Criteria
Set your total budget, available initial capital, preferred payment schedule, investment horizon, target locations and whether the objective is income, appreciation or personal use.
2. Compare Developments
Compare developer history, location, infrastructure, future supply, unit layout, service-charge expectations, payment schedule and expected handover.
3. Select the Unit
Floor, orientation, view, balcony, layout and surrounding buildings can materially influence future desirability.
4. Reservation and SPA
After selecting a unit, the buyer normally completes the developer reservation process and subsequently receives a Sale and Purchase Agreement. Read the contractual terms carefully and obtain independent legal advice where appropriate.
5. Registration and Payments
Eligible off-plan transactions proceed through the relevant Dubai registration process and the buyer follows the contractual payment schedule.
6. Handover
As completion approaches, buyers receive handover information, settle applicable obligations and commonly inspect or snag the property before final acceptance.
